It's been a while...

I have not posted in a while because I have been in an exasperated political mood, and I have been celebrating Fall with my Mom, Dad, and Sister! I would post about that but I am in the process or sorting out those pictures. Lots of Thea communing with the animals pictures to sort through :) For the time being I am going to leave you with these thoughts...

And in that vein, go to Yes We Can (Hold Babies) for some heartwarming pictures of Obama holding babies. This is one of my favorite sites right now.

Now for some random. Sometimes I have to reassure my dad that I eat fruits and veggies since I never did growing up and like so few of them. I actually found that it is not a matter of liking too few, it is a matter of only liking the expensive ones, rasberries, cherry tomatoes, artichokes, asparagus, ect. What I don't like are the most ubiquitous ones, I don't like apples, carrots, and lettuce. Anyway, there are so many beautiful food pictures on many of the craft sites that I thought, what the hell, I will post a foodie picture of my own.



Sometimes I like my meals to resemble assembly lines. This meal of toasted french bread with pesto, onions, fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes is my favorite assembly line meal. Every so often I add sliced olives to it as well.
